Rooted in 8th Day's mission to act as a critical alternative voice to oppressive systems, the Young Adult Council engages young activists, professionals and social justice advocates more deeply in the work of the Center through fundraising, networking and justice events.
Right now the Council is made up of 8 young adults. We are actively seeking additional members, so please let us know if you are interested!
Expectations of the Young Adult Council
Plan fun events to engage young adults (people in their 20s and 30s) more fully in the work of 8th Day; i.e. pub night, wine and cheese house party, film screening, bowling tournament, etc.

- Engage in event-planning through publicity
/outreach and logistics.
