A Clean Energy Future for Chicago
Help pass the Chicago Clean Power Ordinance. Attend the community forum on July 14, '10. Two of the dirtiest coal plants in the US are located right here in this City. A retreat with Michael Morwood
From Sun Aug. 8 - Sat Aug. 14 a retreat entitled "God, Jesus, Prayer & Liturgy" will be directed by Michael Morwood at St. Mary-of-the-Woods, near Terre Haute, IN.  This retreat provides an opportunity to reflect on a Christian spirituality grounded in belief that everyone and everything is connected in the mystery we call "God.".

Silent Prayer Vigil  for Peace ~ Loop Site       
Every Tuesday Morning from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. there is a silent prayer for peace at the corner of Jackson and Dearborn in the Federal Plaza in the Chicago Loop.  Weekly leaflets are distributed and posters show the realities of contemporary war.  Come for the whole hour or any part of it.

Silent Prayer Vigil  for Peace ~ North Suburban

There is a silent vigil for peace on the second Saturday of every month from 3:00-4:00 p.m. on the northeast corner of Northwest Highway and Arlington Heights Road in downtown Arlington Heights.  The vigil, now in its fourth year, is sponsored by the Sisters of the Living Word, The Viatorian Community, and Women’s Resource Center.
